Penat.. but what to do, that's the way it is i guess..
Today Berita Harian keluarkan lagi cerita Marsha. Thanks Kak Cham for giving us the cover of Hip.. Berita Harian again. Two covers within 1 month in the same newspaper is not easy.. We are thankful for all the opportunities given by the newspapers. It's truly an honor.
I don't mean to complain. Any story is good publicity in the industry.. And publicity is important.. That's just how it is. After all, its not a bad story.. It's not controversial pun.. We've had worst, or at least Marsha's had worst. The girl's gone through tormenting ones before.
I just want some space to release some thoughts...
Somehow the press is more interested in writing about Mr.Z.. and for the past 3 weeks, we have only read full page articles with headlines saying "Keluarga Terima Kekasih Marsha" "Marsha sedia bergelar isteri" etc in a total of 4 unique major newspapers so far..
Now...
#1 - Is Mr.Z really the one?.. well maybe? I dont know.. we don't know.. Marsha doesn't know..
#2 - Isn't there anything else that Marsha's doing? Other than being Mrs.Z?
Hmmmmm... I wonder.
We launched Marsha's debut album in January. The physical CD of "Yang Pertama" will be out next week. Awan Dania 3 is nearing its finale.. Asmara 2 has gone into the 4th episode, i think.. the filem Cun! pulled through successfully into 2nd week.. "Bila" is already at the radio stations, and hopefully picks up.. Kum Kum will be out on Tuesday on astro Ria..
SOOoooooooo...With 6 projects out, Marsha still makes a better girlfriend than as an actress AND singer combined?
My heartache isn't really about why the press loves writing on Marsha's personal matters.. it has been that way for as long as anyone can remember, it is like that and it will be like that.. After all, that's what puts Marsha through the papers for the past 6 years.. Thank You..
But my question is - Isn't Marsha doing enough work to get credits for? At least a write up on her work.. give her some credits in a paragraph or two, at least..
It is demotivating for the girl when she has 6 projects out and people don't remember reading about it but her love life.
I am her manager. She is a hard working and dedicated artiste. We put our time to plan out our year, to strategize on our plans and to analyze our strategies.. We both work day and night to make things work. To sustain, to mantain and to survive. While she is busy at the location, i'll be at the office brainstorming, making the best decisions for her. While i'm out working out deals, she stays on set with her best ethics, attitude, and talent to win more deals for the future.. We fight, we make up, we stumble, we stand..
All that 6 projects you read above don't come easy i tell you, that's for sure. Each and every title above has its own little tale.. You'll love Marsha more if you knew the stories that lies behind those titles.
Do you know that she was up for 46 hours working straight through 2 shoots (Asmara 2 & Kum Kum) and a wedding show?
Do you know that during the pre-production of Cun, Marsha had to walk miles under the hot sun in the middle of Pasar Seni area because she didn't know where the production house was for her script reading? She almost cried when she arrived to find that she was late and Maya Karin was already there.
Do you know that Bila was first produced by Dina of Era and then Imran Ajmain? Do you know why? Do you know that Bila was first recorded on her Blackberry while shooting Seribu Kali Cinta?
Do you know that Marsha was supposed to do Awan Dania 2? But her schedule back then didn't permit. So the channel brought forward her character to Awan Dania 3?
Oh well, i guess it's more interesting to ask "Do you know Mr Z?"
It's okay.. At least we are getting spaces and features in the newspapers. Thank you press. Really appreciate the support and exposure given.
Just wishing for some work credits, that's all. :)
